This historic Alberta school house is lovingly kept up by the community so that people can experience the past.  This series title comes from a quotation written on the blackboard, which you can see in one of the images, "The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.  But they when their companions slept were toiling upwards [through] the night".  Shot on black and while 35mm film - it was a lovely experience making these images.
